I don’t have a picture available, but back when I was younger and driving my Crown Vic Police Interceptor (Note: I still drive this car. But I am older, as is he. 308,000 miles right now!), I was cruising around late at night with my BFF and we found a partially-finished subdivision to drive through. It had just

Mercedes GLK. It was the first brand new luxury car I had ever driven and I was not impressed. Everything just felt kind of weird. For example, the gas pedal is hinged at the bottom for some reason, so I always kind of felt like I was playing a stand-up Crazy Taxi game at an arcade, but less fun.

I don't see the quality of the taxi services in Austin detailed anywhere in this article.

Take a fucking taxi. There are options beside “take an uber” or “drive drunk.” Take a fucking taxi. Also, it's shitty that when uber and lyft cease their operations, people are suddenly so concerned about the hardworking people trying to make ends meet, but when uber and lefttakevbisiness away from the cab companies,

Am I the only person who loves the current Taurus?

I am appalled at the ignorance and stupidity in the comments. Come on, Jalops. Inform yourselves and have intelligent discussions.

Doug, this is off-topic but I’ve been meaning to ask you: How do you feel about the Subaru Baja? Did you remember what it was without googling it? How often do you see them on the streets?

It only makes sense for it to match my current dd.

And the stupid ugly dumb headlights from a new Acura. Wow I just noticed that. Why? Just; why?

The design is...a letdown. Really, this just looks like a boring midsize car. The “luxury” I see in the design is the front of a 2003 Quattroporte, the side of a 2012 Taurus, and the taillights of a new Durango. On the other hand, the design of the CT6 would have been a let-down in 2010 so I guess it’s better.

I drove on this road once, and it kind of caught us by surprise so we didn't figure out what it was right away. The signage is not super clear. Cool once we realized what was happening.

I an quite fond of the beige cloth back seat, though. I like the grey a lot but I still feel like it might get dirty quick.

Wow, I always forget how vividly beige the tan police interceptor interior is. I'm very happy I have black.

This is the ugliest car I’ve ever seen.

I feel like it’s not that hard to find a decent MkIII Supra for that money.

They just flipped the greenhouse to face the other way

My Crown Vic has a Sanders sticker on it. It’s not that uncommon.

Sounds like some great deals to me.

From Wisconsin, You’re welcome.

I nominate the 1st gen Toyota Sienna Symphony. For an extra $1,200 (in 1998) you got some of the standard features of the highest-trim XLE, like two-tone paint and alloy wheels, plus a better stereo and a backseat TV. However, you still got the hard cloth seats from the CE and LE models. A weird mix of features.
