Uncharted was sort of forced out by Sony when ND originally wanted to make an RPG.

Retro started off in terrible hands then Nintendo fired the dude that headed it and had Miyamoto oversee the development of Metroid and they knocked it out of the park.

If Sony began pushing the guy a little It's because he deserved it. And if that's what cause him to leave then I'm disappointed in his ego. No where else that he chooses to work will probably give him the resources and time that Sony did.

I didn't care for the game's story and I don't think this one looks much better but I prefer female character's like lightning and XII's Ashelia to the perky preteen sort like Rikku and Vanille.

XII was smart, beautiful and had a great battle system. It was one of the most mature games japan has ever produced.
