If the village hadn't copped out with its twist it could have been an interesting movie. Up until the "hey let's let the blind girl go through the haunted woods" is was a creepy sleepy hollowesque film. After that the film just nose dived for me.

Whatever happened to Richard's tobasco ice cream pearl things? It makes one wonder if his time management on day one was poor, or if they came out badly and were scrapped.

Interviews
The interspersed interviews really screwed me up this week. Both Richard and Stephanie looked drained, tired, exhausted, and depressed. After the first one I swore Stephanie was going home. There was however a lack of Lisa interviews in this episode which was a clear signal that she was in the final

Well consider that in the books Holmes was a drug addict and a bit antisocial, I can see this adaptation being a bit closer to the book.

Next Year…
I am so getting a ticket to this nirvanic event next year. A good friend of mine is one of the dudes in suits walking around, and I'm sure that I can pass for an employee of his company. He will be "hiring" me the day before this starts.

Or go for the more extreme case and take the front of the restaurant to let Lisa and Spike implode. Spike concentrates on one dish and Lisa doesn't seem to keep track of her dishes (RICE..just RICE). It would have been a huge meltdown in the kitchen.

Of the three losers, Dale had the best chance of pulling out a final win, but I'm surprised he didn't smash another locker when the teams were picked. Spike made the smart move and got out of the way.
