This should be interesting. Haunting of Hill House is maybe the most underrated and underappreciated show I’ve seen in this golden age of tv. It was fucking fantastic, but got no awards love or long-lasting recognition.

I’m not sure I’d ever say that Pike was *less* soapy than Stine—the main thing I loved about Pike as a 12 year old was his soapy melodrama (my favourite show after all was All My Children). I actually remember very little about plot specifics, though partly because they’re all a blur. I was in french immersion and we

Trivial comment, but Malia is #hairgoals

Eric deciding to fight the bully for Cory out of nowhere despite knowing he’d get his ass kicked was a tremendous TV moment.

Fans really got a downgrade when they switched Morgans.

Everything you said is why I prefer the early Boy Meets World years, and sort of actively dislike the later ones. I preferred cute little weird Topanga, to generic girlfriend Topanga. I preferred cool older brother Eric,to the version that was too dumb to function. I missed Minkus. And overall, if felt like BMW just

You know you’re old when the only person you care about in this Dirt Bag is Debi Mazar.

Or Couric has every right to bring up stories from her career, especially if she ends by sharing Denzel’s salient point and saying how he made a huge donation to her charity and frames it as a personal experience she learned from as a journalist.

I literally see what you did there.

I get that. And you nailed it with the word ‘creepy’ and that was exactly the missing factor in that stranger’s neutral, admiring compliment. It’s the sexual undertone (at least for me) that makes the difference (especially in the workplace) as evidenced above.

An awesome article, and great photos, and i’ll be doing the hot-saltwater soak tonight to try to approximate restaurant-style tofu preps for my daughter!

I feel cheated that I spent 15 years invested in a title character who is doing everything she can to avoid being and doing better, and that a side character who organically developed into a real hero got fridged.
