I personally did not like it. Part II is one of my favorite movies of all time and the reason being the juxtaposition of Vito and Michael. It was beautifully done and you lose all that in the chronological cut.

He has addressed that himself. Historically Dems start with policy and the GOP does big picture value statements. He’s turning that on its head. Why shouldn’t the left focus on values? Especially when we historically lose on those points because we are so ardent on putting policy first.

Agree to disagree, after Jon left ( and I LOVED his time at the desk) the correspondents have gotten more diverse, there are more topics that affect minorities, and overall the writing has become more inclusive.
