As a female gamer, I honestly couldn't care less. As long as you don't plunk them in the middle of a male-dominated game as vapid eye candy. That's where I start caring.

@Hartia: I think releasing it on FFXIII launch day matters a lot. It's an important game to the Japan crowd (for lack of a better term) in North America, but Final Fantasy XIII is the Japan crowd's frigging white whale.

@Eternalbl: For the PS3 triggers, I bought some of those cheesy little snap on things. They cost a couple bucks a set, and the idea seems ridiculous, but it works wonders.
