My family and friends have 2 rules. Nobody has to do anything is rule 1. Want to sit at the pool all day? Go for it. Early night? Fine. The idea you have to stay as a cohesive group is what causes the stress. Break off into different groups then meet up later.

Counterpoint: Vacationing alone is good all the time. With no one to judge your day (morning?) drinking you can cut loose with impunity. Night time is great when you’re already sloshed and/or passed out.

Regarding inappropriate earbud usage, did you know it’s legal (at least in my state) to DRIVE with them in?
