Closing on a house in the Buffalo, NY area can take 4 months. Had to make repeated calls to the lawyer to get off his ass and finish whatever he needed to do to complete the deal. Seems to be the norm, but nobody complains about it.

I once saw a guy riding a bike in Steamboat Springs with a sheepdog standing on the rear rack. Once he started climbing the hill in a standing position rocking the bike back and forth, the dog swayed back and forth in the opposite fashion to counterbalance. Hilarious.
