Street Fighter 3 series weren't bad, the games just weren't as succesful as Street Fighter 2 or Marvel vs Capcom series.

It wasn't Third Strike that almost killed Street Fighter and the fighting game genre, it was Capcom Vs Snk 2! That game was way complex for a casual gamer and even hardcore fighting game fans. CvS2 scared me away too...
