My son saw Eruptor on my portal on my desk from the original Skylanders, at age 2 1/2. He was hooked watching me play. My wife gives me grief about that every once in a while. He beat them all over and over and over.

You write a long reply, but admit to only skimming the review. That says it all, and thank you for admitting it. I’m glad there are people who are enjoying it. I do essentially the same thing with forums. If I live a game I stay away, because the negativity will creep in, and then I too won’t enjoy it.

The best ones I remember are both Shadowrun on the Genesis and SNES. Loved the Genesis version and its Matrix combat especially.
Had to laugh the part about decreasing load times on older disk drives. Like 5 1/4 or 3 1/2? They mean hard drives. I can buy a hard drive brand new today, that isn’t SSD. They mean decreasing load times on drives that are not solid state. Who writes these patch notes? Just wow.
