Yeah, she sure was. She made racist jokes, sexist jokes, fat jokes, etc. etc. I'm not excusing her act, or saying I agree with everything she said. (I'm fat, by the way!) However, I can differentiate between her act and the person she was. I admire her resilience & her ability to roll with the punches. I'd challenge

"She sang live and said, 'My throat, my throat, I don't know if I can swallow.' And I said, 'Oh, you can swallow,'" Rivers joked.

She's been spouting vile, unfunny garbage her whole career. My condolences to her family but let's not pretend she's any sort of a paragon of feminism.

I mean, that does make sense. But it's also the stark nature that what she did was never wrong. It isn't just that she made the joke, it's the almost self righteous nature she had when people called her on her bullshit.

I just don't know how to feel about Joan Rivers. A trailblazer? Sure. But she also made a career over saying heinous jokes about other people, particularly women. Yeah, she made jokes at her own expense and was apparently a very nice person in private, but I don't respect that a whole lot.

I'm sad for her family. She seemed like a loving and generous woman and the way she worked to get and keep her daughter in Showbiz was sweet. And of course a trailblazing comedienne.

Kind of knew this was coming and still genuinely sad to hear the news. Unapologetic, badass, SURVIVOR. She came back from Carson. She came back from her husband's suicide and a damn near empty bank account. She came back from the haters time and time again. She owned her surgeries, the pressure she felt as a woman,

The only thing that ever worked for me was a Monte Cristo, fries and a Coke. Almost made the hang-over worth it.

"Possible fetus."

Translated: We're not even sure it's a fetus, but we're sure it's more important than an (almost) adult human woman.

GOOD TO KNOW.

I don't think so at all. The physical burden of the mattress is strenuous, sure. But think of how walking in with a mattress will disrupt every class she goes to. How much room it takes up in an elevator. How it will slow/block traffic on a stairwell. Hell, how many people will be made uncomfortable by asking

She's already suffering. Now people will have to witness it in a more tangible way.

I love how as soon as he started getting shit from Twitter users he immediately closed the account.

I think he's saying that if you're in somebody's company, you're giving consent for them to do whatever. That's the only reading that makes linguistic sense to me, and it falls in line with Cee-Lo Green being a bastard.

Yeah I read that as "She can't say no so it must mean yes. If she can't even remember it then what's the big deal?" which was the mentality my abuser had. NOT OKAY. So grossed out.

As long as he doesn't remember it's totally cool.

I reread the tweet at least a half a dozen times and then decided given the fact he's made millions off of a song where the chorus is just him saying "fuck you" I'm expecting a little too much eloquence.

As long as he couldn't remember it, nothing happened.

So, if some guy drugged Cee-Lo and forced him to have sex against his will, he'd be cool with that?

Welp, off to delete all Cee-Lo's music off my iPod.

cee-lo's tweets. the comments on the stolen pics. i cannot take this week already.
