In New York we have tremendous problems with indoor air pollution. Doesn’t matter where the pollution comes from, it’s the damage it does to your lungs that seems to be the thing that gets ya. 

Glad they are researching this... but I do have to say that it seems fairly obvious. Damaged lungs from continued exposure to air pollution are going to be more susceptible to a respiratory virus..
