Oh John Cleese, funny walk that statement back.

I live in San Francisco and it would appear that in order to find someone, which at this point my desperation is bordering on the obscene, I have to feign an interest in outdoor activities. "Oh, I just love sea kayaking!!", I heard myself say the other day on a date. The only time I went sea kayaking, it was in the

Here's an interesting story that somewhat follows up with an older post on this type of thread from a few weeks ago(barely):

Burn it. Burn it all to the ground.

If my mother didn't have an abortion, I wouldn't exist.

The comments on the thread are really great because they run the entire range of experiences. And, fortunately, the mods stepped in and banned any arguments about abortion.

I can't stand the cohabitate with girlfriend = expect her to be your new mommy dynamic. I have heard the "but women are so much better than men, inherently kinder/more nurturing/more spiritual" talk from male friends before and besides being patently untrue, it's almost always an excuse for not owning up to their own

Typical misandrist. Forcing boys to train to be able to be functioning independent adults

I know we like to joke about misandry and male tears and all that, but you know what's actually misandry? Claiming that men aren't as smart as women, and that they can't possibly be expected to know how to act like adults. And it's coming from the (male) President of the U.S. of A.

I got into a you tube argument with a guy who said only women want marriage-guys like that just say that in order to win cool points with other dudes. "Yeah, dude! I ain't gonna be tied

Other things that aren't real: Ghosts, the Ghostbusters.

I really love and agree with what you have to say but it's important to acknowledge: Trauma can absolutely cause mental illness. Is it going to suddenly cause someone to have Bipolar Disorder or Schizophrenia? No. Can it exacerbate those things? Absolutely. Can trauma cause depression, anxiety, PTSD, and even eating

Quick preemptive strike: 3 thinks about mental health and sex abuse which you should consider before commenting.

Our welfare programs such as SNAP and TANF are a tiny pittance compared to the welfare we give rich white men in McLean via defense contracts and the massive surveillance state. But it's not like the government is any different from any other social institution— every other major institution in this country also
