They’ve got another year of Isaiah Thomas. I wonder if they aren’t still hoping that Terry Rozier will blossom into a starting caliber point guard if they surround him with versatile wings and scorers.

We do you make of the Stephen A. rumor to trade for Butler? Is that Ainge using Stephen to stir the pot and gauge interest? Or real deal?
Girl Power:
This was always my favorite Shump highlight. Bottom line is that after he had his knee injury he never showed the same tenacity as in his rookie season.
Me too. I’ve always felt that the dude should insist on a silent “t” pronunciation of his name (think Stephen Colbert). Iman Shumpair sounds fancy as fuck. Like he’d doff a hat perched way above his head and shit.
I was pretty sure I knew where you were going, but a satisfying ride nonetheless.
Goddamit, stop making me like Draymond Green.
A slow-building routine, but you nailed the landing. 9.6
worth the payoff
It’s his natural handshake motion
I for one will be disappointed if Golden State chooses not to go to Washington. Opportunities like this come along once in a lifetime, if that. I think the Warriors, provided they receive an invitation, had better think long and hard about how to respond. It is a personal meeting with the Goddamn President of the…
I am desperately hoping that this Warriors White House visit ends up just being a photo op of Trump and Zaza Pachulia with the rest of the team boycotting.
It does kinda change the narrative from something along the lines of ‘Work hard, practice, play smart, and you can be the best!’ to ‘Work hard, practice, play smart, and someday, if the contract timing breaks right, or the economic landscape of the league allows it, you can become a part of a small conglomerate of…
It’s somewhat reminiscent of 80s Tyson. Watching highlight reel KOs is fun for a bit, but after a certain point, it wasn’t worth ordering his fights because you knew no one stood a chance of beating him. Most never stood a chance of making out of the first round.
So, Westbrook to Cleland, right?
Like I said in an earlier post, Rafa has been incredibly unfortunate in Australian Open finals. He was up 4-2 in the fifth set vs Djokovic in 2012, serving up game point and missed a short backhand to go up 5-2. Djokovic broke him and wound up winning in 5 hours and 57 minutes.
He really isn’t that much bigger than Federer. He has bigger bicep/s than Fed, but their core/lower body is basically the same. Murray is far bigger than both.
What are other records that will never get broken? I think a lot of the NFL rushing records are safe due to the change in the nature of the position. There are too few workhorse backs that carry a team’s entire offense to give somebody a reasonable chance to break Dickerson or Smith’s records.
If we’re talking unbreakable records (and I grant you this one is between one-half and three-quarters fluke), I’m going with Fernando Tatis hitting two grand slams in the same inning.
It’s a known tactic. Make that your MO, and they are bound to ease up on you because it becomes normal.
