That actually does pique my interest...

Niice! I don't know if people don't look or what.

looked online a bit last night. No 240SX that I saw in manual, but I found some freaking sweet low-mile 300zx sticks from 86 with t-tops, and surprisingly low miles. Husband vetoed them due to crack pipe-type pricing and the fact that he had one back in the day that disintegrated.

I think your Dad would really dig my Dad. I had forgotten about cab forward and that one guy who did all the Dodge commercials for awhile. An actor that had been in everything, and you never knew his name, but knew his voice and face.

He always said he dug my mom because of her Corvair and big "bozangas." Then he left her for someone else after 36 years. So I guess perhaps he does NOT settle.

OMG... that is terrible.

But if I want to drive lots of miles in a car that uses lots of fuel, isn't that on me? In America at least, the EPA standards are fairly high. It would be terrible to swing the pendulum too far the other way in response to a problem. Unfortunately, this is what we always seem to do throughout history. Everything

I have actually eaten one of those, from Hy-Vee Grocery in Iowa. My mother brought them home while we were visiting. Maple frosting with the bacon... interesting taste.

Yes, I suppose. One was the early 90s body style, the other the more smooshed rear end that was popular later. I'm making it my life's mission for everyone to drive a car they love, not a car they like. It is possible.

back atcha. I get so worn out from mistakes of all kinds at work that by the time I get on here, I just want pretty cars and nice spelling.

Blue was popular here for a bit. Blue noses. Go figure.

Umbrellas?

totally had a pink/purple one of those shirts. My tendency to sweat a bit too much and be overeager answering questions in History by raising my hand led to some wonderfully awkward high school moments.

Niiice, Rob. Niice.

Ha!

plus one!

omg, I love love love the read panel. Do I know the right name of that panel? Of course not, but omg. Gorgeous. Like a plane with a chrome contrail! Thank you!

I am severely anti-Impala? Why? Because I know my poor father shelled out WAY too much for a stupid 50th anniversary edition when, if he had simply done some searching online, he could have bought the dream car he's talked about since I was a young girl, an 80s-era Mercedes SL.

Jalopchicks are taking over COTD! WAY TO GO! Well-deserved.

I like the way you two think!!!
