I'm in the same boat. I guess this album is maybe better than Blunderbuss? They're both such a far cry from even the worst of his Stripes material, it's almost like he's been replaced by a blander, paler version of himself.

Blunderbuss is a turd.

All those shows are on a different level than The Killing.

It *was* a big deal at the time. People couldn't believe a network responsible for Breaking Bad and Mad Men could make a show this boring.

I think they're both dead in the water. And it's probably a mix of reasons you point out. Neither are critical darlings (Turn may be the quietest cable drama in recent memory) and The Walking Dead altered expectations for how an AMC drama should perform.

I suppose we should give them enough credit for not cancelling either show midway through season 1.
