House Of Cards: Stuff happened in every episode
@avclub-b97fa993e1616965ac436401de58042d:disqus There are definitely more than 6 great dramas on the air, but are Downton Abbey and House of Cards really among them?
Directed by Jeff Garling.
Wind Chimes is my favorite. The Smile Sessions really blew me away first time I heard them. I already liked all the individual songs spread across the different late 60s/early 70s albums, but hearing them all together and remastered gave me a new appreciation for Brian Wilson.
It may not be Scorcese's best film, but this is probably my favorite lead performance. Griffin Dunne is perfect.

Yeah, I can't wait.
They are a distillation of everything that is great about the power pop genre.
I live in Memphis, and even most people here have never heard of them. For some reason, they aren't a part of the local lore.
Last Resort? It was pretty good, as is Defiance. Definitely not on the same plane of stupidity as this tripe. Or Revolution.
Which happens to be the one show that doesn't feel like it's on a broadcast network.
I don't get it. This show should be good. Brian K. Vaughn's name alone should mean its at least an interesting project, but it's not. Maybe it's just too difficult to overcome the CBS factor. Like there's a rule that says all CBS shows must have bland characters and terribly stilted dialogue.
His short story collections are generally fantastic, especially Skeleton Key and Night Shift.
Seems like violence has always been a lot easier to pull off than real and emotional subjects like sex and children living in broken homes.
Eh, both of those bands first couple records hold up fairly well today. I'm sure NYC had a lot to do with hyping them up, but most of that was justified.
*shudders* Event Horizon really messed me up when I was a kid.
Shekachu.
