MW2 was one of my favorites, and a very worthy successor, but started the trend into over the top action sequences. MW was a bit slower, and iron sights worked a bit differently (in the most recent games your eyes go right to the sights, in MW the gun moved so that the sights became centered).

Short answer: Yes. The game is well designed, with a wiki detailing all the parts, they’re wet and dry mass, and how much delta-v it takes to go places. The game is pretty realistic, especially since they updated the aerodynamics in the .90 update. Space flight is 100% realistic, although you always see people call for N-body physics, which would be stupid complex.
