May we all remember your prayer as we climb the income ladder and not let our hearts die as so many boomers did with their #GotMine attitude.

I'm sure there are over a dozen people who could comment on this story and counter Mr. Gross-man, uh sorry, Grothman's assertions. I'll be happy to start.

My mom is on food stamps. She gets a little over $100.00 a month to feed herself. I promise that lobster is not in her budget. Does she sometimes splurge and get a more expensive steak or something because it's a special occassion? Yes. Shame on her. I should probably remind her that poor people are not actually

By that logic we should get rid of prisons as soon as possible. Last year the Times reported that the average cost to keep an inmate in NYC was $168,000. Now THAT'S a bribe! And they don't even have to work, take care of kids, whatever. It's practically a socialist paradise in those prisons.

How many people make $35,000 a year after taxes? Most people don't. [I mean, I do, of course. I make multiple times that amount of money, and get great benefits, and job security, and I don't have to worry about how I'm going to afford dinner for my kids tonight. But I'm special, and I DESERVE to make money, because

Yup.

Issuing apologies is something that the Ravens and the NFL should be issuing to Janay Rice, not the Rams to the St. Louis police department. To say that best practices are backwards in this league would be a vast understatement.

It was an honest mistake... she meant to call them thugs.

you know what I find offensive? 18 year olds getting shot and prosecutors intentionally throwing the case

Huh. I thought she sounded thoughtful, passionate, and committed to a better world. But I guess that is pretty insufferable.

I'm starting by saying I'm sorry for insulting your loved one, but he is an idiot. Overweight lady here, almost fourty, six months pregnant. So big bad start here, but my baby is fine and as healthy as can be (all the tests say) and so am I. No high blood pressure, no G Diabetes, no pre-eclampsia. So it is possible

Well, one of the joys of being part of the dominant group is the ability to steal other people's words and subvert them for your own purposes.

The movies have been getting better and better, which is a rarity in sequels. I liked the fact that so little time was given to Gale/Katniss as a romantic couple, and I liked the fact that there was a conversation about how Katniss could love Peeta, but that didn't mean it was in a romantic way.

This has reduced me to tears. Not because I had the same experience — because I didn't. I drank like an alcoholic fish during my college years — in parties at my college, and in bars (where I lied about my age), and in frats, and in guys' rooms at other colleges, and basically anyplace I could get ahold of booze.

So, it's a political stance to side with rape victims over rapists, rather than something everyone can just agree to? Well then.

This question makes me angry:

I never had kids, but I finally, at 45-ish, decided to stop having relationships with men, and my life has been pretty blissful ever since. I know there are great, supportive, smart men out there, but I was never able to find one who wasn't more trouble than he was worth. There were emotional issues. There was

I love the girl who threads her legs between the girls locking her down so she can't continue to be dragged. That girl is a hero.

Maybe *gasp* there was an unseen publicist that prevented the best quotes from getting out?
