The cowis suffering. I’m sorry that affects you and causes you to lash out, but farming is largely pain and suffering and a very early death for animals.

I would prefer it if we could produce meat synthetically and not butcher animals with the physical capacity to feel pain. The environmental impact of animal husbandry is pretty significant too, I believe. And that’s bad.

I thought this article was a repost from long long ago. The old AVC ran an article about how terrible Firefly’s theme song is and I still think of this comment whenever Firefly comes up

This video is so wrong about the Firefly theme it’s actually ripped a whole in space time to a dimension where it wasn’t cancelled and is now a franchise bigger then Star Wars. Also Joss Whedon wasn’t a terrible human being in that dimension.

Firefly had an absolutely perfect beyond perfect opening theme song. It defined the genre, set the tone, and presented the milieu. Calling it ‘terrible’ is like saying Citizen Kane was the worst sports movie about sledding ever made: it shows a complete lack of comprehension.

Take all, ALL the production money that this show sucked up, and instead just make a fucking awesome documentary about tigers, and throw the rest of the money towards actually ensuring the species survives and thrives.
