I really hope the story isn’t Neo has amnesia and has to remember he is The One with a T2000-style Sentinel that can look human in the real world.

This looks a LOT like a movie I’ve seen before.

Is there just no way to approach a film other than to find some fault with it for not doing enough?

Wondering the same. The thesis of this editorial is not well-argued.

She is literally strutting around in thigh high boots and your first thought is “Man, I don’t think Faye is dressed slutty enough.”?

She's coming back in this very miniseries.

I bet this is another one of those shows where the location work and CGI look pretty decent, and all the interiors look like they were shot inside a hastily converted junior high gymnasium.

Ah yes, Nier Auromata. The game that my wife watched me play once and commented “Wow! When you are on the ladder the in game camera man turns into an amateur proctologist”.

When you lash out at people as being “puritans” because they want their female characters to have armor that isn’t a crop top, you’re part of the problem.

I was trying to figure out why she looks so different to me in that still and I guess its because they’re not dyeing the actresses eyebrows anymore hahah

Counterpoint: letting Twitter bullshit determine your articles is dumb.

Welcome to: When Reposting Twitter Drama Goes Wrong - AV Club Edition.

You know, AVC, you can’t regularly call Twitter a shitty hell website and then give in to its worst tendencies constantly.

Yeah, I’d reckon most pageants in the South and Midwest have racist as hell roots. But I’m not going to blame kids and socially-obligated young adults for participating in something that lost its racist overtones decades ago.

Oh man, you didn’t check in to see how this insane stretch of a nothing-burger was getting roasted over at The Root? Cause it’s getting no traction there, and it feels like their readership should know.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that someone who was crowned “most fuckable of her barely legal peers” by a bunch of old men was probably not thinking hard about any of the implications involved.

I don’t think most white people who read here enough to catch the article are going to have it effect there level of support one way or another.

I don’t know that it was lying so much as that as the new relationship energy faded and they started to be challenged by the real work in activism, they found it easier rationalize away their earlier attraction and retreat from it all.

How on earth is this out of the grays?

Perhaps an unpopular opinion, but Aquaman is not good. When I originally saw it, I enjoyed it. 2 subsequent viewings have strongly eroded that.
