This review is about 100x as pretentious as the movie seems like it is, and the movie seems pretty god damn pretentious.

Seriously, I was 1.5 paragraphs into the part actually discussing the film before I realized it wasn’t summarizing the basic premises but giving a plot blow-by-blow and I was halfway into the movie.
