Unless:

2) and thus inadvertently begin a potentially catastrophic process of climate change that they don’t notice until it’s quite advanced (nearly as likely as

I don’t understand all the reviews with titles like this one. What exactly did you expect or want from a Godzilla movie?

Exactly. It’s like we didn’t learn anything from how he got all the free press last time. Impeach him, and the news cycle is about nothing but him for the next year or more, when the Dem primary candidates need space in the public mind.

He hates the actual job. But he loves all the trappings that go with it and he loves that he’s the center of almost every goddamn conversation.

I’m not OP, but it would seem to me that you really only needed last season and this to be full-length, maybe at most with one more 10 ep season. That’s the thing--it really didn’t need to go on that many more years or seasons, just be written by competent writers who knew how to pace out the material.

I’m not sure what you mean by “the” argument. There certainly are a lot of people saying that those of us who think it’s rushed or imperfect (who I think are still the majority) are wrong, and often that we’re stupid. That’s what the other commenter and I are talking about.

Thank you. I’m pretty baffled at the thousand “I’m so smart for knowing she would turn heel, everyone else is an idiot for being surprised comments.” The backlash has really very clearly been against the execution of her villainous turn, not the fact of it happening. It’s mind-blowing to see the contrarians so

Love the show, always will, but if you can’t see the last two seasons are rushed as fuck compared to 1-6 when they had the books to adopt, you’re just lying to yourself.

I mean, I’ve read the books and watched the show twice (but for this season), and I guess I have answers to those questions, but even if they’ve always hated each other, I still don’t know why or when the Hound decided it was his sole purpose in life to kill his brother to the exclusion of everything else. I’m pretty

Deadspin has an article about how if they had only waited until this ep to kill Rhaegal, and if Jon had been riding him so she thought he was dead too, it would at least make sense that she went batshit for a minute. Before the ep, my two ways were: 1) Cersei is entrenched in such a way that the only humane option is

Oh, did it? Thank god; I hadn’t heard. I assumed they were doing Star Wars and. God, if we thought the prequels were bad what kind of shit are they going to churn out?

Also, the War of the Roses ended when the last living Lancaster male married a York princess and connected the feuding lines in a political marriage. The show has been showing Tyrion and Sansa reunions, and a growing respect between them, every episode this season except for last night’s.

They’ve been building to it less and less subtly for years.

Exactly, they’re going to get a dump truck full of money to make some flaming dumpster of shit, and then some network execs will be like “Der, but GoT was so good, what happened??”

Burnin’ Becky”

“Getting cancelled” = “they want to be done so they can ride it to more lucrative contracts they can take sole creative credit for”

If it’s going to go in the garbage can, it’s garbage.”

As yet another MO resident, I’d confirm that he’s a full on douche-spigot, a douche-firehose, a douche-sluicegate, even.

I mean, just look at his face.

I was going to say exactly this, point for point. My City Administrator runs the town, full stop. He pulls down 150 K a year, is the gatekeeper for all development projects, is the person to bribe if you want anything done (in the case of our last one). The Council is full of my nosy neighbors who don’t understand the
