Great idea. Be the one person who misses out on great deals for years because you don’t think...these great deals will last forever? Your power as an individual customer means nothing. Back to my example of Amazon...did they “jack up the prices” once they drove most small sellers out of business?

I never said their business model is viable. What I did say is that any startup has massive marketing and tech costs — and yes, they become less necessary over time.

Try telling that to my cancer-sticken friend who can only walk now due to a leg bone implant from a donor.

What about the term “organ donor” ever suggested to you it would be a very controlled and aesthetically-pleasing process?

How many of the 200,000 people who deleted the Uber app re-installed it? Over/under: 195,000.

It’s not really fair to say the capital is being burned on a “per-ride” basis. Most of the expenses have nothing to do with incremental rides, and everything to do with marketing and tech. spending -- both of which should go down over time. Not saying the Uber model is going to work without major changes. But the idea

Without the current drivers, they’d just hire other drivers. The problem is that they are easily replaced, unskilled labor.

Not sure if photo posted...

Wait. This guy was a dick?

By plenty, do you mean about 50,000? There are burner accounts more closely followed than this guy.

“Covering” an athlete is not the same as whining about another publication’s profile of said athlete. If you really want to talk about Brady — and apparently you do — why not interview him yourself?

If you knew anything, you’d understand that -110 does not imply a 10% profit margin for books. They only get the extra 10% of the money wagered half of the time (when the client loses).

I’ve made a nice living off the combination of trading and sports betting for the past 10 years — or at least my tax returns claim I did. But yes, a gambling “addict” is not likely to become profitable trader.

The idea that some local degenerate bookie is sharper than the consensus line (set off-shore, not by Vegas, btw) is truly laughable.

yes

But have you ever heard “put on the guerilla effect”? The phrase makes no sense. Clearly he meant “gorilla effect.” However, it’s perfectly possible he would have used the term for a large white player. Somehow, “polar bear effect” would sound even more absurd.

You guys need an official company position on sports agents? That’s kind of sad that you all think alike.

Precisely. People don’t seem to get that one of the primary goals of a union is to reward the most senior members while screwing over the youngest members. The NBA is certainly no different.

Unions don’t give a shit about young people trying to take their jobs? No way.

So a lack of ogling means that men depise women? That’s quite a reach.
