The Comcast/TWC deal is canceled, I’m going to a party tonight, AND my week of vacation starts tomorrow?

I applied for transfer at four universities at my state. And I’ve been accepted at all four of them! Yay! So excited! Figuring out which one to go to will be a nice problem to have. Now hoping my financial aid/scholarship applications will also be approved.
Interesting about poking a hole. I’ve been meaning to try making scrambled hard boiled eggs. Something about putting the raw egg in the sleeve of a shirt and whipping it around to it mixes the whites and yolk together, so after you hard boil it, it’s just a neat mix.
Hear, hear! I carry a small 15L collapsible backpack with me as well. It’s extremely useful in many situations like this or once you arrive, you don’t have to carry a large backpack around.
I think people who don’t like rain eventually leave the PNW anyway.
That was added by the editors and not in the original essay. I’m sure they’ll fix it — mistakes happen. We’re all human.
What’s really a shame is that you couldn’t point out the error kindly, like an adult.
The only villain in Gotham who knows what’s up.
Speaking from a place where it does rain a lot, Seattle, rain is not so bad. Not nearly as gloomy and dark as some say. For some of us, rain is cleansing, even exhilarating! It’s hard to explain.
But criminals also stay in on rainy days so that’s the preferred weather.
Iwould like to know if we will ever see the original theatrical version released. You know, the one that begins with Buddy at the Super Hero Con talking to Mr. Incredible, pitching his idea about being a sidekick, saying he wanted to be super, and Mr. Incredible telling him, "If everyone was super, no one would be…
Considering that he responded to a comment about people's reaction when they found out he did her voice with "I don't do the voice, dahling!" in the Edna Mode voice, I don't think much warming up will be required.
And the capeless
I'm sure he hasn't forgotten Edna. Especially since he provided the voice for her character in the original movie.
THANK YOU!! I’m a software product manager. I design the software and its features. I write up the plans, I manage the project, I create the UI/GUI, I create the logic, I define every detail exactly. I do everything but the coding. When the coding is completed, I blackbox test, then do other types of testing that are…
Whatever happened to, you know, *asking another nearby human to take a picture of you*?! Every picture I have of me (at the Taj Mahal, at the Pyramids, in the Valley of the Kings, in Jerusalem, in Nice, in Moscow, in Sydney, and another 25 exotic places which are arguably more desirable a locale than some random…
Where I come from there are a dozen or so charities that will take used books off your hands to sell in their shops, but I know these don't exist everywhere. That's where mine go when I run out of shelf space. I'm sure they throw out what they can't sell, but at least you tried, and it goes to a good cause.
Let's not pretend that there aren't an insane amount of copies of books printed that don't sell are are destroyed by the bookstores themselves, so I'm fine with this. This isn't the Twilight Zone, this isn't the end of civilization, if the book's worth the paper it was printed on there's going to be a reprint or…
It's just paper in a binding. Unless it's irreplaceable, which most books aren't, I'm with you. Libraries regularly trash books that are old, out of date, in bad shape. The books aren't sacred.
I would think a decent sized island would be a good setting. They could finally eradicate every walker, only to have a cruise ship full of them wash up in the night and screw up the entire thing. It could be interesting for a while.
There's a Very Good Reason why it can be difficult to accept criticism without taking it personally. Criticism _is personal_.
