"...Netflix just got a bunch of HGTV shows..."

If you're worried about losing important ones- or just a message hoarder - there are a few IFFFT recipes for copying incoming and outgoing SMS message to a google drive sheet. I use the Android ones but I'm betting there's something similar for iOS.

Work work is off limits as it'd get me sued/fired/both.

I really like how Dum-Dum speaks to Peggy as at least an equal. I half expected him to say "Peggy, let's ditch these losers and go kick some butt."

The river that meanders past our city on the way to the sea empties into the Bay of Fundy - which has the highest tidal range in the world. Twice a day this happens. That wave approaching is a mix of sea and river water being pushed backwards against the flow of the river. (This was taken during a high-tide full

"Meanwhile, Cole just straight-up murders a good, decent man to keep him from falling into the wrong hands."

Looks like great fun! It won't show locally (small town cinemas here) but with sub-titles on Netflix I'd be in.

It's about the footprint of a credit card and it's perfect for turning hotel ethernet into an in-room wifi (bonus being you're not competing with everyone else for the supplied wifi.) It's a few versions back, the newer one will take a sim card for true wireless.

Good to hear - we'll be spending a few days there in March. Can't wait.

You can lose a pound a day on this diet.

Why don't the just admit the thing landed in a dirt lot behind a 7-11 somewhere in New Mexico? We won't be mad. Everyone makes mistakes.

I have to admit I'm a little horrified, and a little sad, to find a co-worker who's been difficult to deal with for the last 5 years has all but the last the "key traits." She's not evil but so negative, and tiring, to be around.

That they could take a note from other, modern operating systems and not BLOODY WELL make me reboot after even the most MODERATE update.

My first was an actual photo of myself someone took in Paris. The only photo of me I ever liked. Then when I was on io9 well, Benny was born

Don't apply too much envy. I was reading an article the other day that said, in a nutshell, we're now finding children raised and educated in both official languages are pretty much bilingual but ... they're not as good in either language as children raised uni-lingual English or French. They're sort of averaging
