"And he said 'Honey, you're sittin' on a goldmine.' At least I *think* he was talkin' 'bout the dress." - Bette Midler

Oh, I've seen this and the only thing missing is bits of corn. Took us days to air out the living room.

If y'all would excuse me, I have to run from the room screaming.

I don't sing in public — the judge was REALLY specific about that.

Thanks, Alasdair, I believe I'll be using "Armada of Bastards" as my new band name. (I was always going to use "Nipple Inferno" but I think I'm gonna open a Harajuku clothing shop called that instead.)

It's only the next logical step - almost every store we visited in Tokyo (especially the pharmacies for some reason) had little video units on the shelves. When you walked within range they'd spring to life and the delightful looking cartoon kid/man/woman/moose would insist that the pain-reliever/otc diet

Féliciations! (Crossing fingers they ship to Canada on the cheap-ish.)

This {weeps openly} wins the internet.

It's nastily overpopulated - it was last weekend and about, counting spouses, 1900 people.

Someone with photoshop ninja skillz: can you make this "Klingon with a Whip" please and thanks?

I'm quite sure, of we look at the outer edge of any of the calendars, in tiny letters we'll find:

I chose a dollar purely as a monetary gain. I'd pick up a penny but that's "Find a penny, pick it up, all day long you'll have good luck" - though, when I'm having a good day, I'll often say "I'm feelin' good, I'm leaving the penny for someone who needs the luck."

I agree but most times people fall into "impending doom" mode - their brains note the awful thing that's happening and fall into a "this can't really be happening" loop that ties up their reactions for a few precious seconds.

If Rowling sees this she's gonna be pissed off.

VOTE: Nexus 7

I'm looking at the photo imagining Giles visiting to help Sherlock with an unusual case or ... 20!

I tried it about a week ago and it was miserable - choppy picture and massively sped-up sound (think chipmunk on speed.) An update came through today and it's much more stable. Sound and picture sync but the whole things a tiny bit off, speed wise - visually people appear to be moving a hair too slow. Watchable,

This pretty much sums up my reaction. I'm gonna go lie down now.

True but, just in case, I'm going to start practising.

This'd give the mannequins a migraine.
