One is one of the most attractive big sedans ever, one is not. And Chris Bangle had nothing to do with the good looking one.

Yeah, I don’t like how things changed. I liked the old BMW where the changes were incremental and the styling was conservative. I don’t want flamboyant styling in my cars, I want good build quality and a subtle design that doesn’t draw any attention.

First responders’ first thought would most likely be to get there ASAP to save as many lives as possible. It’s why there were so many first responder killed in 9/11, it’s what makes them heros.

Do yourself a favor and venture outside of the Ark-la-tex to take a look at REAL farming communities, notably in California. Drive by the infinite fields of hand-picked tomatoes, romaine lettuce, artichoke, avocados, you name it, and marvel how early these Americans get out to work, the conditions they work in, their

And we’re worse off for this habit of jarring the public with ugly redesigns. Look at the new 3/4 series. Revolting. And to think they put out the e39 5 series. Shame on them. SHAME!

You guys win a collective COTD.

Stuffing 25 people into the cabin of an SUV is a very ineffective way of smuggling people across the border. Especially when boats, planes and semi trucks exist. Not to mention they were already in SoCal sooo, yeah.

It must be intentional at this point.

oh, how little faith you have in their ability to ruin everything.

omg, i didn’t think the question with a 2 or 3 digit answer would actually become a slideshow

2001 BMW 7 series:

Far more likely to be day laborers. Smugglers tend to try to keep a low profile and smuggle people in cargo trailers/box trucks with no windows. Stuffing 25 people into an SUV with windows all around is not very stealthy.

I can’t imagine the horror of the scene. Good lord.

Not obviously.  It is quite common in California for farmers and farm labor companies to use as few vehicles as possible to move as many bodies as possible to the fields, regardless of the legal status of those in the cars.  Not for themselves, mind you.  Just the day laborers.  This could just as easily be that.

Or just farmworkers, which is still not great.

This. It’s every bit as likely (probably more likely) that these were farm workers being driven to the next farm.

Agreed, ugly af then and now.

I think it looks pretty good for a Pontiac.

Right. Is this article some kind of satire? Because this looked like shit when it was new, and it looks like shit now.

Hard disagree. That 6 series still looks ugly.
