In 1993/4, I rented a 24' Budget truck with the crew cab option to move the family across the country.

From the profile view I thought, eh, I kind of like it. Now that I see that it has the back half of the Silverado cab, tilting in like that - I want to puke. That’s bad. Really bad.

From the side, it looks like an oddly executed cab, maybe for more interior space....then this picture!

My eyes.

Wow. I was ready to like it after looking at that initial ad. But my god. The actual truck is so, so, so ugly. It looks like They just crashed a Chevy into a commercial truck and just went “eh... that’ll do.”

Good god, that looks so much worse than the ad.

That is the worst thing I’ve seen in ages. The pictures are actually worse, the ad glosses over the fact that the cabs aren’t remotely the same size in any dimension.

The drawing leaves you to assume that the sides are flush the length of the cab. The photos reveal the inward slope to the roof of the GMC portion - that just does NOT work with the slab sided Isuzu front.

I love those.

Way worse.

Nice. I saw that there yesterday with the tent all set up. Definitely cool.

Bradley, for some reason you seem to be a polarizing figure here but I enjoy what you do. Thanks!

Jokes on them.   The US didn’t lose a single F-35 during the Vietnam war.

Of course. Same management.

The Russian Embassy in the United States has a history of tweeting out threatening, bellicose, and frankly weird shit.”

You’ve reached and blown through several evaluation points on this project that should have put a stop to the madness already. Its not the frame you need to evaluate this weekend, its how to say goodbye to a hopeless cause.

That particular Jeep will take care of the folding all on its own.

You got to know when to hold em, know when to fold em

Jeep: Please let me die. I’m old, tired, and have cancer spreading all over my body.

Yeah that’s scrap. Cut your losses and buy something that actually has salvageable parts. It’s one thing if it’s got a messed up power train but the chassis is fine or vice versa, but both are gone? What exactly going to be left of this thing when it’s finished?
