Wow. Hilarious story. It does underscore the weirdness of the tax credit thing— pretty much a very progressive give-away for the affluent and being basically only of use to someone in a high enough tax bracket. A clever fellow could likely figure out how to stack the credits up high enough to make it worthwhile— it’s

I drove Dallas-to-ElPaso last year in a fun car, at high rate of speed, and was impressed by how (relatively) well observed the Keep Right thing was.  It’s a krapfest here in LA.

Agreed but it really depends. I will say this from my very brief experience driving in California, at least in LA, they did pretty darn well, it was about a 10 mph bump for each lane to the left. But it could have been a one off experience. However I do a fair amount of driving in Houston, and generally the slow driver

Also let’s call it “Keep right except to pass”. I prefer it over the slower traffic but your point still stands

They are limited to 112mph, so governor removal will become a booming business. As will wrecking companies when their tires inevitably explode because they were only rated to do 112.

Holy fuck. The 5 already feels like Talladega when you get over the grapevine. Do you know how many Escalades are going to want to do +120mph?

How do pilots do this with such accuracy? Surely the on board course computer doesn’t have a “left bearing 200, right bearing small penis” instruction, right?

GOOD NEWS!

Construction guys are not looking for 38-year-old mini pickup.  A 10-year-old 1/2 ton single-cab long bed?  Sure.  But not this.

I supposed it’s no less productive than a twitter replies war, where faceless individuals battle in a forum where there are no winners and where all contestants regurgitate the same set of stale facts until everyone leaves unsatisfied, solved nothing and only solidified everyone’s preexisting points of view and

Ah, the ever-expanding proliferation of n’er-do-wells and idiots; the bane of my existence.

Oh come on, my friend. It is up to us to shine our hearts the brightest for our neighbors in the face of the evil bastards that run the corporations and governments of the world, not to mention the vast sea of idiots and n’er-do-wells in our midst.

“No low ballers I know what I’ve got.” Yeah, an overpriced white elephant. Good luck. Too bad too, it looks halfway interesting if he’d take about $2500 off the price. I have reason enough to visit MN, picking up a 4x4 Comanche would be icing on the cake but noooo. He knows what he’s got.

I mean, at least with a crack pipe you can enjoy some crack.  You can’t smoke any crack with that thing!

I’m pretty sure for the price of this truck you could import a 25-year old small diesel truck from just about anywhere in the world and pay to fix it up.  It would still be cheaper.

“I know what I’ve got” is the reason it still hasn't sold... and the price is crack Pipe.

This is probably the earliest in the morning something has made me say WTF.  Have a star.

What am I missing? It’s a crappy old truck that has been repainted? It’s obviously not a classic and no attempt has been made to restore it. It has been repaired and updated with aftermarket paint, upholstery, wheels, speakers and bed liner. If you’re going to ask stupid money at least restore it to original factory

Does he know what he’s got? Because it must be dementia.

If I wanted an old, slow truck I’d get one of these:
