He didn’t stop turning left once he was centered in the lane though, and he didn’t react to the truck at all. I can only imagine it was a medical emergency or he was suicidal.

I’m very much looking forward to the new Lincoln Aviator. Can’t think of any Cadillac (that is actually coming out) that I’m looking forward to.

I don’t really consider Tesla luxury at all, even if they are expensive. Many economy cars today have many of, if not more features than some luxury cars, but it’s the fit, finish, design, and materials used that stand out most to me. While I find BMW interiors to be very bland, material choice is very nice and they

Lincoln is looking pretty good nowadays though. Can’t really say the same about Caddy.

i thought the same thing.

They definitely did brake.  They’d have hit the Jeep a hell of a lot harder if they didn’t.   Chances are their initial reaction was to try and see what way the truck was going.  Based on its initial angle I wouldn’t have hit my brakes either because it looked like it was going to come right for where the dashcam car

I really hope not. Just glad the kid’s okay.

Yeah, after watching it a few more times, it kinda looks like there’s some acceleration there as well.

What’s hard for me to understand is how there’s no correction once he leaves his lane. Seems like that mound of snow on the center line would cause a reaction, or even nudge him back toward his lane some (just the physics of it, especially since the road was curved to the left).

I’m sorry but that has to be one of the dumbest comments that I’ve ever read on Jalopnik.

Either distracted or fell asleep. Really no other logic reason for it other than attempted suicide.

I truly hope it was some distraction or malfunction and not what I think it might haven been...

If he had his eyes up, there’s no way he didn’t see the semi. I hate to even bring up the thought in a tragedy like this, but my mind does consider another possibility of what happened here...

Newsreader: This may be dificult to watch.

I don’t know, it looks like a pretty conscious lane change.

They dont know why he changed lanes, mom said hes never even gotten a speeding ticket...it looks like hes trying to pass, but its not like the truck came out of nowhere..

Hard to know for sure, but appears to have just drifted out of his lane.

our small regional station in WI was amazing over the last few days. Lots of people bringing in warm food to share. The airport admin allowed us to park the shuttle bus near whatever flight was active and we rotated agents about every 10 min when we were able. It's a budget operation so we all provide our own gear (on

They’d have to be fashionable, otherwise you’d never see a metrovortextual wearing them.

Neutral: Trucks are just a substitute for land yachts. The family sedan of yore used to have a 20+ cuft trunk, seating for 6, and come priced well enough that you didn’t feel bad using and abusing it. Modern sedans just aren’t a good value compared to trucks, especially once you factor in resale value. A full size
