If you look in the right corner of some of the pics, there are several Mercedes SUV that are admittedly parked out on their own, but most of the time, the expensive cars go on the inside of the “ring”, so if someone tries to steal one, they’d have to move rows of cars to get to them.
Hailstorms are a bitch for RACs as the damage to the ones on the lot have to be absorbed by the location, and any on rent at the time have to be very carefully inspected for damage, since responsibility and cost of repairs falls back on the renter.
Unless it’s a small Mom and Pop or luxury car rental place, all RAC are self insured.

I bought a 2019 EcoSport SE 3cyl. when they were having the fall clearance sale last August because my ‘97 Lexus LX450 finally gave up the ghost.
I know the world needs more color options on cars, but damn, these are some seriously fugly choices. Yes, it’s been pointed out that these 12 will likely keep delivery miles on them their who lives, but bring back bright, happy, skittle colors with either flat or minimal metal flake.
