Agree. That is a horrible looking car.

What’s up with the white Smart following in the distance? If that was their benchmark, I guess they succeeded? Or at least matched it.

We had the only two R129 Mercedes in attendance. They were parked directly across from the TC. One 320SL with 40k miles, and the Metallic Green (teal) AMG 600SL with the panoramic roof.

FWIW: these are approved by the state and available for purchase:

Love the color!

Moving from L.A. to the Hill Country in the 70's (I was 5 I think), my Mom bought a grand, old home with 16 foot ceilings, lots of windows, great built ins, etc. etc. Because of its age the first thing she decided to do was renovate the kitchen, which involved tearing down a wall to expose an old, disused fireplace.

Damn, I haven’t seen one of those since the Alpine alarm systems of the 80's. Even then, they were so expensive they were only on really high end cars as an option!

I got an email from Enterprise today saying that they are temporarily “consolidating” locations and reducing store hours.

My local Ford dealer just announced the same.

A Packard straight eight coupe (2dr sedan, but close enough).

The several of the people in Italy who are posting videos about what we need to do to prepare while we still have the time say that unfortunately a good deal of U.S. citizens won’t take proper precautions because it will “infringe on our rights”.

Oh, India has servants. Hell, they even have class systems, even in the slums. Now I doubt that the guy that was mentioned in the article works for this guy, but still they have crazy money over there.

OMG though! Like we had this trip planned for two whole months! And I just turned 21, so I just want to get drunk and have fun, but they keep closing everything. It’s like they don’t want us here. We just want to party and get drunk! Woo-Hoo! Party!

I know, I tried to search for Alanis with no results.

Hill Country resident here: There is no possible way that the hospital systems postponing non-elective surgeries are anywhere close to “causing urgent financial issues”. We are talking Baylor, Methodist, and University Health Systems, part of huge networks with plenty of cash, Not Hill Country Memorial in

Those are drawers, not tables.

It seems like almost every option for the Jeep comes with that grille logo on it somewhere. Is it really that important to owners to constantly be reminded of what they are driving?

I live in TX and have had a real ID for years now.

I had to get out of the house to cure a bad case of cabin fever. I just got on the highway and drove for an hour, turned around and came home.

I thought 2020 was going to be MY year for once. Bought property in CO, was planning a move in May and get out of TX.
