Oh, I give more credit to the fact that Boeing didn’t do the presentation in crayon. The NTSB had pretty pictures of planes crashing to the ground drawn by 6 year olds so Cheeto Mussolini could follow along and understand.

Me thinks we either have a bunch of new readers who don’t quite understand your proclivity for tail lights or other car-related idiosyncrasies, or they all have developed mass dementia or some sort of memory loss.
My commute in Austin was 23 miles each way. I cannot imagine how hard the A/C would have to work with those dual sunroofs in the 100+ days of summer.
It might be running oxygen to the engine like Clarkson did to his Jeep on the Columbia wildlife Grand Tour episode.
I’m looking forward to the “baby Bronco” which will be a lifted EcoSport with a twin turbo 2.0 liter 4 and a 2 speed transfer case.
When they make them all tax rebates or refunds instead of credits, then I will be excited about something like this.
You have to go out of your way to find gasoline?
I loathe the stop/start on my car because if I’m making a turn at an intersection, the car stops and feels like it locks the wheels mid turn. It’s a PITA because instead of being able to make a smooth turn into the close lane, it tried to re-center the wheels, so I have to jack with the wheel again.
I thought you abhor the idea of stickers on cars. No?
Damn, there goes my blood sausage theory!
Safer than this as well:
Tangential to the article, but you mentioned the rental only Shelby GT-S Sixt. From their press release:
Sorry, but as a TX resident, I strongly disagree with your description of Texas as a “sane state”.
My ‘67 Beetle I drove in HS had a dash (same color) and steering wheel like this, with lap belts! That huge steering wheel was awesome!
PREACH!
I love that car. It’s just clean, classic Honda with tasteful mods and updates.
I really have no clue why there are POV in NYC. None. They end up looking like shit, cost a fortune to operate, expensive to garage or a nightmare to street park.
I’m not a mouth frothing manual elitist, but I do enjoy a car with a manual transmission. I also, in fact, drive an automatic Micro SUV.
The whole car is a horrible pastiche of the Mini. It’s no longer an homage to the original cars, the first gen of the new Minis were close, and a refreshing update to re-introduce the brand.
Why add the new turbo AFTER the motor blows? Am I missing something here?
