I found the sales numbers of all models combines as a whole, with the 5 door model accounting for 95% of all Evoque sales. Curiously, the convertible poached enough 3 door sales to cause it to be killed off.

Dark times indeed.....
That is a gorgeous sight.
It’s been said before about my birth (and current home state):
I find it more infuriating when I find mid-matched tires on cars at a used car dealership. The car could be exactly what I wanted, but that’s an automatic fail, and a hasty retreat off the lot.
In the not too distant past there was a major consensus that you buy any project car that is in good cosmetic shape since things like paint/trim/ and interior bits are more expensive to sort and fix than a car that needs mechanical work.
I love this car.
Note to self:
Sadly, I had to get rid of my LX450 last week. For the last 5 months, I had regular appointments booked with both my mechanic and Enterprise to have work done on it. The work was not unexpected, just regular items that after 250k miles were needed, but as my only car, it kept creeping closer to the repair/replace…
Agree on the internet disappointment.
on a lighter note:
Could be that the buyers of Mustangs and Camaros are not the actual drivers. Yes, they are the buyers, but who know how many are bought for their kids to drive.
I inherited an 80's something hunchback Seville from my Granfather when I was 22. The rear lights-brake/stop/ nor driving would not come on unless the tilt wheel was in the lowest most position, squishing my balls between the wheel and the overstuffed driver’s seat.
Talk about an RV conversion!
Why would I want the center console to look like an etch-a-sketch? That swanky wood would look so much better!
Yep, Geo Metro. Bought a beater as a commuter car, and while I have had some shitty cars when money was tight, nothing else in my life has ever made me feel poor.
100% agree. Prime example: Back when they were new, I was working for Hertz when they stared to add them to the “Luxury Collection”.
Hey there! Good to see ya, I was getting kinda worried!
