No small cars are listed on the list, but I bet the Versa would be on it somewhere. Along with the Mirage, both due to easy financing and owners who don’t care where the cheap parts come from (if they even get them repaired at all).

True that the QX80 and Armada are roughly based off of the very capable Nissan Patrol, both of the Americanized versions offer 2wd-surprising to me, as I thought they were all 4x4's like the Land Cruisers and Rovers.

It’s not judgemental if it’s true. Chrysler/Dodge and Nissan seem to cater to those that are credit challenged (like me), but either need a new car or think they do (unlike me-I love my 22 year old Lexus SUV that I own outright). Even though MSRP’s are inline with other makes, the cash on the hoods combined with easy

It ranks right up there with the vehicle that shall not be named for legal purposes. Aw, fuck it:

Finding a way to remove that Jeep Easter egg from the windshield would be a good start to legitimacy. Even though it’s behind the mirror, the sun catches it and the little drawing of the Jeep front end moves all over the place.

Amazing that you caught one in it’s natural habitat.

To be fair, that’s only roughly 3 feet longer than a new Suburban. So yeah, short by our limo standards.

I was [ ] close to buying a manual wagon 4Moition V8 Passat-a rare beast indeed. It was of course in beautiful shape low miles, tons of options and drove like a dream (how could it not be spending most of it’s life in the shop?).

IIRC, the Impulse was designed by Giugiaro as the the MK2 Scirocco, but VW passed on it and decided to design it in house instead.

My Mom bought an ‘86 Prelude Si when I was 14. Awesome car. She broke her left ankle about 3 months later, so I had to get a hardship license so I could get to school and the grocery, pharmacy, etc.

Limpwood?

I’m still available for any positions that may open up. I don’t eat much, don’t care where I stay, take all my happy pills regularly, so I’m good to go!

PREACH!

Now that’s how you do it!

The owner-or potential buyer-needs to install at least two fans to circulate some air in there, at the minimum.

David, didn’t you work closely with Manly during you time with Jeep? IIRC, you made mention of it after the JL was released and you could finally talk about it.

When my brother was shopping for a car, he of course asked my opinion. Since he was already the embodiment of a Subaru commercial-paddle board, kayak, all the camping and fishing equipment in the world, goatee, man-bun, and those freaky 5 finger shoe/sock/foot glove things, I of course told him Subaru. He was not sold

Hot take:

The engine should really be in the engine, dividing the front and rear seats. Now that would be something to be excited about.

$250? That’s the equivalent of his personal out of pocket expenses for 5 Project POStal, or 10 including the other $2500 GMG covered for his per diem.
