I've really been enjoying SDL2. Linux, Windows, Mac, Android, iOS. Requires C/C++ knowledge, but there's a ton of good tutorials out there.

I work at a public library. Fought tooth and nail for our new PCs to be Intel NUCs. Instead, they bought AIO's that are ~$200 more expensive, and now we're having heat issues with 10% of them.

Actually Best Buys pre-orders are fundamentally flawed. At the store I worked at, we regularly had to tell people "A pre-order guarantees you a product, unfortunately, not necessarily at launch." Apply this 'logic' to a limited run, and you have exactly the problem you see here.
