I'd bet that someone gets it up and running first month. Hell, as long as it's got any kind of serial output, someone's bound to do it.

I've been going through all the Lifehacker Linux articles and trying to create a patron-use Linux station for the library without creating a security risk :P
Exactly, the company that tried to choke out Let's Play videos? I doubt it's gonna happen.
I'm sitting on that $13 credit they gave me until Pier Solar is released on Ouya. I don't regret my Ouya purchase at all. I'm a hardware junkie and just like the idea of the thing. If good games come out for it, awesome. If they don't, I'll just wait for the inevitable Linux port and use it as an adorable little low…
SLOOOOOW NEWWWSSSSSS DAAAAAAAAY
...watched it.
1:30 - Bastion Soundtrack followed by Super Mario RPG.
I thought Fahey already did?
You saw 'groping scenes' and didn't think what that might entail?
I'm fairly sure that none of these were 'cheap'
You could have saved the author the trouble of writing this entire article!
There was a dude with the last name Hathcock at my last job. Everyone called him Halfdick behind his back.
I can't really even follow what your argument is anymore. Consider it a victory.
Just because someone has had more practice does not mean their product will be statistically better (see MS's ventures into mp3 players, tablets, phones, their countless failed mobile OS's). Since the beginning of Microsoft, their products have been plagued with instabilities. Compare the countless BSOD's to the…
It is speculation. SDK's and development of operating systems means little. The Linux kernel is more widely used than Windows. Next ridiculous statement please.
Between 48 and 52 seconds you can clearly hear the sound byte used for velociraptors in Jurassic Park 3.
The only reason I mentioned OpenGL is because it's proven to run slightly more efficient than DX when rendering two of the same exact models/scenes. Whether Microsoft's software engineers that are working on the XB1 are better than the engineers for the PS4 is entirely speculation, and again, an absolutely ridiculous…
Regardless, I don't know any games that use anywhere near 3GB of RAM. As games will forever be output in 1080p from these systems, there's a finite end to the quality of textures. I'm sure the math has been done.
...why? Do you know what RAM does? The 360 only had 512MB. What would they ever use 8-12GB for?
In the long run, it'll matter. Seeing as how developers are going to be squeezing this thing for everything it's got over the next ten years, every last clock is crucial. Besides, in some games, this could easily mean the difference of multiple frames. And as they've mentioned before, they're shooting for a 60 frame…
