I was just about to post that.

Well, let's just think about the plausibility of finding a lush, healthy plant SEALED INSIDE A CLOSED REFRIGERATOR. Never mind the lack of fresh air; has anyone ever seen what happens to a plant when it doesn't get any sunlight?
Our family watched the "Penguins of Madagascar" movie last week on Friday pizza night on a lark, and it was surprisingly entertaining. It certainly helped that I went in with every expectation that it would be an unbearable abomination only to be pleasantly surprised.
Also, I love the use of "stone" as a measure of weight. It's so bafflingly unheard-of to anyone outside Britain.
They've been working so hard to control the British crown they've only had partial success within only two countries in keeping the metric system down, apparently.
I mean, I wouldn't exactly call it ground-breaking, but it was enjoyable different than most action fare, and it was decent and fun to watch. I could see this guy being the kind to toot his own horn to the point where his genuinely good piece of work becomes overrated in the praise he gives it. Either way, it was the…
Yeah, but neither "ludicrous," "utterly derivative" nor "improbable premise" are necessarily bad things.
In fairness, "American Ultra" was an entirely solid movie.
"Once Harry finds out he's a wizard, almost everything goes right for him"
Yeah, I don't think that's true at all, even a tiny bit.
I don't know who the best captain is, but I know who the worst captain is. Yeah, it's Archer. The guy acted like a moody adolescent.

Yeah, the fact that all those guys were Masons is about as shocking and conspiratorial as the fact that a bunch of our presidents have been Boy Scouts.
I love how they simultaneously "control[] the British crown" and also "keep[] the metric system down," even though the metric system has been adopted by nearly every single nation on Earth including Britain.
"Self-aware" made for one of the best and certainly one of the most fun Trek episodes in "Trials and Tribbleations."
The CW has had a very strong lineup of shows for a while. Admittedly, most of them are a bit "teenish," which works fine for them but which you'd need to avoid in a Trek show (unless it was a Starfleet Academy cadet show, as Rogue_Like mentioned. That *could* work.)
Remember when the dance mix of that "Hanging Tree" song from "The Hunger Games" was popular for a little while? That seemed like it was in kind of bad taste.
A cartoon of Leslie Jones zapping Milo Ycuntdoucheopolis …
I think "ships seen in the background" fall into "not really canon, 'cause you're not supposed to see them clearly" territory, but it will be kind of cool if they are.
It's the second part of that scene that's the best. https://www.youtube.com/wat…
