I can have a guess.
I can have a guess.
Well that’s a relief. I was worried they’d made it difficult.
“Having designed more than a few motors I’m as fond of them as cab-over vans.”
Thanks for reminding on how they totally wasted her character.
I really don’t care for this at all.
Why don’t you go start that company and tell me how it goes.
Sliding doors are heavy and make the car heavy because they require extra bracing. Plus they need a long enough rail to clear the opening. Most vehicle types can’t do that comfortably because they don’t have two or three feet of vertically flat space above the rear wheel well for a rail to fit.
Well then, you’re in a tough spot I guess.
Seriously, if you are down to $600 (assuming this is above an emergency fund) forget fun cars and stop using your junk on the track. Especially when you got kids.
That is the sensible suggestion, but I get the feeling that’s never going to happen.
You’re a carpenter. I was a carpenter. You can’t be a carpenter without a reliable work vehicle, and currently you have neither a reliable work vehicle nor the funds to get one. That sucks, but it’s just the situation you’re in. This is what I did, in a similar situation.
It’s self-serving self-delusion, just like casino gamblers who always manage to convince themselves they had a winning night as they drive their leased Hyundai back to shitsville while the House counts its billions—
If you’re not tailgating, you’ll see them.
Exactly. Everyone wants to spout some contrarian anecdote about the one lemon Camry on the planet like that means anything at all. 4cyl, 2wd boring AF Corolla/Civic/Camry/Accord; pick one.
I guess I don’t understand why selling 3 of these vehicles and buying a better daily isn’t on the table. I know you got burned by the xc70, but try a more reliable car next time. Don’t hate every corolla or hardbody pickup just because you bought one of the most likely to fail used cars on the road and it failed on…
If your initial response is, “buy an old Honda,” I’ll just mention that I’ve proven that this isn’t necessarily a good idea,
I’m really puzzled by this question. The truck sounds like it’s essential. He uses it for his work. So how can not fixing a huge part of the source of his income be an option?
Personally, I’d vote for the lvo or the uck.
