100% agree!

seriosuky stop the most awful part of Jalopnik, “Carspotting.”  It must die. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it!

I’d be very interested where the Toyota Land Cruiser or Lexus LX470 far in this.  I assume they where in the group of cars with to small of a sample size.

40F is the absolute IDEAL temperature for a convertible. Heater on full blast, windows up! That’s terrible that they won’t allow that. I always laugh when I see someone in a convertible at 90F with the top down because they are doing it all wrong!

Ugh... carspotting is worse than getting a root canal without novacain or laughing gas.

Poor choice... but I guess you are always welcome to make them!

My 2005 LX470 has a button to turn off the side curtain airbags off for off-roading.  How hard can this be to give that option on a new vehicle?

It does have the hydrolic suspension. I flushed the fluids a few days ago and ran a few tests. It’s definitely still reliable and functioning at this point. Longer term, if it fails and it’s too expensive, there are some pretty reasonable priced lift kits out there that I’d be very interested in.

As a 100 Series owner, it pains me to crack pipe this, but I’m sure it’s had a long hard life and needs a number of repairs to bring it back to even somewhat comfortable life of driving to the grocery store.

I was looking for this comment. :). I’ve been on multiple flights with animals that are seriously stressed out. I’m 100% against animals flying in the cabin outside of actual service animals.
