The game says that the fairy helps you cook an elixir.
It really does kinda look like you cook the fairy, though...

Self-imposed challenge.
There’s a reason speed runs for various games have so many different categories, ranging from no glitches at all to a carefully crafted TAS with save states used to create a near-perfect run.
People like to challenge themselves to beat the same game in different ways.
Edit: Well, I think TAS is

I don’t see how whether it’s newsworthy or not has anything to do with whether or not it violates laws.

“ruining private lives” just means “violating privacy laws” if you put into legal terms.
For example I’m pretty sure that in most countries it’s illegal to post photos of the faces of suspected sex offenders, at least until they actually go to jail.
You just get people killed by lynch mobs by posting their info on some

Yep, and age ratings probably play a part, too.
Severing the leg of a robot is something you can put in an E-rated game, whereas ripping limbs off a person is very different.

Getting set on fire is pretty common in Caves of Qud.
It can be really dangerous if you are currently surrouded by flammable materials or if the heat transforms water around you into scalding steam.
Most times, though, you can just spend a turn to pour water on yourself and take minimal damage.

I have two R.A.T. 3 mice and a GBA charger, all made by Mad Catz.
Would have likely eventually bought a third mouse of the same brand (once this one dies) but now I dunno what I’m gonna end up doing.

This is why I mostly use a PC and like my 3DS as a “secondary”.
PS and Xbox are mostly just less-powerful PCs, and have only a few exclusives that I’m interested in.
Many of their “exclusives” eventually appear on PC, too.
I like many of Nintendo’s exclusives and the “gadget-factor” of owning and using somewhat unusual

I know that you are probably just cracking a joke, but I’ll reply anyway!
There are procedurally generated Metroidvanias with real-time movement, but I dunno if any of them are First Person Shooters.
Some argue that Rogue Legacy is a Metroidvania, but that’s... debatable, and it’s definitely not an FPS.
It is real-time

I’m kind of creeped out by it.
Reminds me of the flayed ones from Warhammer 40K.
Creatures wearing scraps of flesh on top of their metal bodies...

The touchpad has been below the space bar on every laptop I’ve seen so far.
Where else would it be?
This is where it is on my laptop:

Not that I ever use the touchpad.
There’s a function key to disable it and a

Yeah mine looks pristine and works perfectly.
...and my original, gray fatty DS still works fine, too!

I wonder how much money I saved for sticking with it until 3DS instead of buying a DS XL+DS lite + DSi like some did.

Wait is that... oh hey, yeah it’s Hamada.
The hell?!
How.... um... fabulous.

I might check out Ar Tonelico at some point. :)
And yeah, Coda is absolutely insane.
The leaderboards are pretty telling.

King Conga’s theme has a pause in it’s beat, I think that there are some others but most of them do use even beats.
But you see, in most rhythm games you only need to focus on the beat, not also play a roguelike while at it.

Imagine if you had to play checkers to the beat of a song, and your opponent made a free move

You are allowed to miss beats at the beginning of a level, before you hit any key. This allows you to get your bearings or safely pause the game.
Afterwards if you miss a beat you die and have to restart from the beginning of the game. ...when playing as Coda that is.
There are some rare items that save you from death

Yeah, really shows how good their character design is!
Same goes for Valve’s Team Fortress 2. Just unmistakable.

None of the censorship here has really bothered me on a personal level. (I’m ok with some “fanservice”, but I mostly like to keep games and pervy stuff separate.)
With that said I’ve noticed that a lot of censorship happens due to America being somewhat conservative.

Look at the US and then international trailers for

“Pelle” means “clown” in Finnish, however Finnish has very little in common with Norvegian, so “pellek” probably means something completely different.

That’s Dutch, I think. Bae doesn’t really mean anything in Finnish.
