Correct on both!

Very close with Annie Wilson, but it's actually the other Wilson sister who did Almost Famous. Sideways is a good guess, but he was nominated for Best Actor for that, not Best Supporting. The Outsiders was made quite a bit after Monroe passed away. And, as I said elsewhere, I fucked up the phrasing on the Jurassic

It definitely looked pretty fun. And, as Iggy aptly put, it's been a really long time since Salma Hayek's been given any real meaty role and this certainly seems better than the latest Adam Sandler vacation movie.

It cannot be overstate how great that was, particularly the question that was literally just an excuse for him to just say one of his Road House lines.

I'll See You In My Dreams was a pretty pleasant first feature film. It definitely had some really strong performances from the three leads, so this might be worthwhile on just a performance basis.

Correct on most, and the ones you didn't get right were because of some poor phrasing. For the Jurassic Park one, I meant what is her character named. And there is a chance that Rising Sun could've been a right answer; unsure, as I haven't seen it. The clip that I derived that question is of a younger Sean Connery.

This was a damn good night of trivia, even if Sam Elliott isn't there to read trivia questions (context: our trivia host has a film school friend who, a few years back, got Sam Elliott to come to trivia and read questions about himself that night. This weekend, he has a new film out and we hoped the same thing would

Did you see Mike Birbiglia's Don't Think Twice? I thought she was given a pretty meaty role there, even if she is a girlfriend of one of the characters.

I'd say that Captain America is actually a main example of a hero who is motivated to do the right thing because it is just and doesn't have a real traumatic past motivating him to do what he does.

Sorry for the late reply. Got everything except Firestarter came out the year after. And thanks for the birthday wishes.

It may have been insane for you, but you did do a very good job and you would've gotten 4 right on my guest round, which is on the upper end. You chose correctly between Monster and Thirteen; Catherine Hardwicke did Thirteen and later went on to do the first Twilight film. You'll kick yourself when you find out the

Yup, you've got it!

That's it!

Correct on both!

Correct on everything. Hilariously, the co-host who asked about the HBC/Tim Burton question ended up saying 8 because he thought Burton directed the Alice In Wonderland sequel when he had almost nothing to do with that.

Correct on both! Good job.

I'd make a great doctor, if I had any medical training.

The Dead Zone did indeed come out in 1983.

It's quite hilarious to realize that it's an Italian-American and not an African-American actor who's Spike Lee's most used actor, outside of himself.

Not a bad guess, as it did win for Best Original Screenplay. However, that was released in 1987, so it happened two years prior.
