All films need more Torgo.

That is correct. I was thinking of the wrong phrase.

It's definitely in that area, although I do think it needed to be a little more batshit crazy for it to really hit that sweet spot.

The main guy probably has a Stone Roses shirt, given that one of his characterization is to have both a Joy Division and Violent Femmes t-shirt.

To be slightly fair, he is in college here and, given that he's moving off-campus, he's probably playing early 20's here, which is a bit better.

Yeah, it's supposed to be their off campus house that they're renting from flower store owner Mr. Daisy. Doesn't really explain how they can afford it, although the main dude has a scholarship.

For the first half of this film, that song just would not leave my head, and it's been forever since I've heard it in full.

I saw a free screening of this yesterday. I had a lot of fun with it. I'll admit, a lot of that comes from having no expectations that it'd actually be good and that my audience was appropriately noisy for the quality of film being shown. It became great every time the audience would groan whenever some poor fool

5 years old when the film came out, might have been 4 when they were filming. Got you on the 40 Year Old Virgin/This Is 40 confusion in pairing them together. In 40 Year Old Virgin, they don't interact with each other; Paul Rudd is one of Carrell's co-workers/friends, while Leslie Mann is one of Carrell's unsuccessful

Just saw this now. Correct on most, even the ones with question marks. It was actually Altered States that was Drew Barrymore's first film. Dick Tracy got 3 and I'm impressed you only thought of costumes, since the one award my team and I were sure of was that it won Best Original Song for the Madonna song that's in

That's the other one.

That's what I've heard as well. Somehow, it worked out great with Blackhat.

Considering there's a film coming out in March, The Zookeeper's Wife, which also has Daniel Bruhl as a Nazi, the answer is probably yes.

Before, by one year.

Correct on everything. How much does Drew Barrymore actually do in Altered States? It's just really weird to find out that that was her actual film debut.

Believe me, I and everyone else on my team thought that as well. We thought we had another Bearenstein Bears situation on our hands.

Correct on both. 3 was Chipwrecked and somehow I thought of that before I thought of Squeakqual.

Correct on everything. Very good job, particularly on remembering Exodus.

Brendan Gleeson does sound a bit off in a German accent. Still, definitely better job than Maisie Williams doing Southern in a film she has that's also out this weekend, The Book Of Love.

I thought the original cut wasn't that good, but his director's cut which screened in Brooklyn last year made it a much, much better film. Hope it sees the light of day sometime.
