Yup, Petty did it in 2008.

The Little Prince had nothing to do with Relativity. That got held up because Paramount decided not to distribute a few weeks before it was set to come out in March. Eventually, Netflix got it instead, releasing it to their site and giving a very token theatrical release for Oscar eligibility.

I disagree with that. I genuinely really dug The Living Daylights, even with a pretty weak villain. And I also like Licence To Kill more than most, although I can understand not being crazy about that.

A quick Google search reveals it's a Lady Antebellum song. No idea if it appears in the film or Andrea Arnold meant to reference it.

Based on the Wikipedia summary of the case, your assumptions are definitely correct.

And God bless him for that.

Totally fair. I've only seen four of his films so far (Badlands, Days Of Heaven, The New World, and Tree Of Life) and Badlands is the only one I can say I really like and not just admire.

Agreed. I definitely don't think the Amanda Knox case should be read as Americans getting to look down at another country's criminal justice system, as we've definitely had miscarriage of justices here way too numerous to count. The Daily Mail could tell me the sky is blue and I'd seriously have to consider what blue really is.

Controversial opinion alert: I liked Fish Tank way better than any Malick film I've seen other than maybe Badlands.

Providing a Daily Mail link doesn't particularly help your argument.

Because clearly false convictions never happen. And people can't have really, really weird senses of humor about their situation.

But does he make the trains run on time?

Oh man, disappointed to hear that about Vonnegut. Was that pre or post Slaughterhouse Five?

It does seem like the issue is that the case, from reading about it a little bit because of this, is an interesting one based on what it's about, but how it was conducted isn't especially dramatically interesting. And if you're trying to make it as accurate as you can, that's a bit of a problem. Too bad David Hare
