I do like the implication that this person is unsure about whether Obama's male, female, or trans and then just settles on trans.

I saw an early screening of this tonight. I did like it quite a bit, and I definitely think the Before Sunrise comparison is well justified, as it's one of the few romantic dramas out there almost entirely focused on two characters getting to know each other and trading their philosophies on life. I didn't find the…
Gotta do what your sister says, my friend, you gotta do it.
Oh yeah, I've never even seen that in full, but there was no way that tagline was for anything but Cool Runnings.
Oh yeah, I'm definitely appreciative of people going out on limbs for ones they're not sure of. When actually playing trivia, my main rule is that we put down an answer no matter what. And yeah, Suicide Squad is also not the highest grossing film this summer, although it's definitely top five. Hint: it's a Disney film…
That works as a special case, since they were already set to change showrunners in between seasons, so already, some of the original creative vision for the show was set to change. Combined with the fact that there weren't too many defenders of the series and it did set it up to just be cancelled.
That might be a rights issue. Probably would need to work something out with HBO to make that possible.
More like a Direct To DVD Purgatory type article, except for it getting a perfunctory theatrical release.
If someone did want to make a trailer for Nine Lives emphasizing awards their actors have won, Jennifer Garner would be Golden Globe Award winning actress Jennifer Garner, since she won for Alias.
Brad Pitt didn't get nominated for Thelma & Louise. Batman V. Superman both wasn't released this summer and was outgrossed by quite a few films this year, which keeps it from being 7th of all time. Keeping The Faith had a wide release, so it made over $1 million during its run. Road To Perdition did make just over…
There's a lot I haven't seen. Would you have remembered the character names from it?
That was 2008, when I stopped paying attention to Syfy. The only other film I knew the Godzilla: Final Wars director for was Versus, and that was before Godzilla: Final Wars and thus not the right answer.
You do, you really, really do. And we had space for you as well.
That there is. Hilarious note from Trivia Night: one of my film group folk from the other team actually blurted out 5 as the answer because he thought it was leading to another question and not actually the main question. Luckily, he played in the tiebreaker and won, which made up for that.
Indeed, indeed. Two in the case of Nine Lives, even.
Wikipedia confirms that this is what happened nationwide with Midnight Meat Train.
Well, it is the first round, and they do try to make those questions tilt a bit on the easier side, presumably for the benefit of teams who aren't regulars. Plus, they know they can do that if they have a fucking difficult as shit guest round, which they definitely had tonight.
That it is!
Pair this up with Nine Lives and you've got a great double feature of weirdly inappropriate child fare from the summer of 2016.
They did release Appropriate Behavior though, and for that, they've earned my everlasting goodwill.
