Fair enough. As long as you're good with Willy Wonka, we're all cool here.

Por que??????
No mincing words here, last night's Movie Trivia fucking rocked! It was the end of the three month long season and both of my usual teams from my film group were on fire tonight. My team started out with a nearly flawless first round, while the other film group team got the perfect score. Then we got most of the clip…
That was mentioned in the main article, in the Fantastic Four section.
Blame the Weinsteins, who are really good at buying foreign imports and then doing nothing with them.
It's definitely on my list. I actually haven't seen any 80's Cusack, not even Say Anything, although I've of course seen In Your Eyes. I also went to a variety show where they played that but with Baker Street over it and man, does it work in a hilarious way.
If this Debate Club was about Dr. Suess adaptions, there is clearly only right answer: the original Chuck Jones animated How The Grinch Stole Chistmas.
While Willy Wonka might be my favorite, I still have to shout out James And The Giant Peach. I haven't seen it since I was a kid, but I remember being utterly captivated by it and loving this world away from ours that the stop motion captured so well.
Also, has anyone else here read Felicia Day's book? I thought it was really good, just filled to the brim with her personality and having some good stories. It does make you want to shake your head terribly when the later chapters come describing the online harassment she got and her take on the #GamerGate shitshow.
High Fidelity, man. My first ever exposure to John Cusack and still probably one of his best films. I also do think he actually was solid as older Brian Wilson in Love & Mercy and also strong in the Spike Lee joint Chi-Raq.
The Young And Prodigious T.S. Spivet. What I didn't realize until looking it up on IMDB right now was that it was released in France in 2013 but didn't make it to American shores until last year, and barely at that: http://www.imdb.com/title/t…
It genuinely sounds like he and Spielberg became super close friends during the Bridge of Spies shoot that it seems he's willing to do whatever to work with him.
He had a film that was buried by the Weinstein's come out last year. And yes, Dahl would suit him well.
I think being purchased by Univision was an overall detriment because, while making money has always been a goal, big companies in particular just have a mindset of not just growth but explosive growth and anything which seems like it won't lead to that will get jettisoned. Thus, nichey items get thrown out in favor…
In one of the private Facebook groups I belong to, Todd VanDerWerf popped in and he said that, if you use one website for tracking viewing trends of websites, the A.V. Club has actually gone up quite a bit. He speculated that they'd likely just double down on the viral content. Also got to see an angry Dennis Perkins…
You can also keep on reading my Movie Trivia recaps as well. As long as there's a What's On Tonight and that keeps going, I'll keep on posting those.
Could just record all of Shark Week and have that on rotating basis.
While some may be mourning the loss of the TV reviews for shows like Angie Tribeca and Adventure Time, the film section was also hit by the Dr. Strangelove review being the last home video review from this fine website.
Quite exciting.
Oh, I'm well aware of that. Believe me, it feels like it should be, if it weren't for me having watched it happen.
