In terms of cultural cachet, “The Matrix” is no “Spider-Man,” and I doubt anyone thinks it will do anywhere near the same business. Also, unlike “Spider-Man,” it’ll be streaming on HBO Max. (Which is where I’ll see it, if I see it.)

I also found it comparable to Endgame, and I’m a little surprised myself. I only went to get ahead of the spoilers. Wasn’t expecting to have such a good time. I can’t speak for anyone else, but as someone who has been...

I feel like that was the subtext of the funeral plotline. And those end credits felt oddly poignant and moving, maybe there was something only Larry knows about it - perhaps to him, watching the orchestra play the theme with Bob’s brother is the next best thing to Bob still being around.

I’m an old and I truly, truly dislike the “soap opera” look that the 4k and motion smoothing gives to films, especially older ones.
