You should dip into Original Xbox games. Panzer Dragoon looks amazing on the X and even the S. All the “enhanced” games benefit from the additional horsepower the S provides for O.G. Xbox and X360 games.

As for Gamepass, A Plague Tale: Innocence is a must play, even better in 4K and HDR. Beautiful game. 

Imagine if Alien Isolation or Bioshock had this feature. Devs put a lot of work into the worlds they craft in this 4K/HDR era of games. Explore mode should be a thing.

Wow impressive. I’m really digging these collections beyond 3-4 games and including Japanese versions of games. Konami did well with Contra/Castlevania/Arcade collections. When you upgrade your video card, you don’t lose access to all your games. Xbox is leading in backwards/forward compatibility and it’s great they made it a talking point. “horrible smoothing filter” - This is what ruined the Neo Geo mini for me. The output to the TV was horrible. Not sure why they didn’t have an option to turn it off. I want pixel perfection not smoothing.

If you look at the disc slot and the distance to the other end, it’s not really that long. I think some are acting like it’s some huge box.

For all the crap that Microsoft and Xbox get in general (especially from certain fandoms), I rather have this triforce of gaming stick together than any of the thirsty new billion dollar newcomers. It’s because of MS’ vast data center resources and tech that Sony/Nintendo went with them for the future.

You’re right, but Lan Di is a big deal, so it was disappointing (to me) to hear that voice for a character with his boss stature. Someone in the studio with a deeper voice would’ve been fine. He sounds like Starscream almost.
