“My old 335i ate through 6 high pressure fuel pumps. I could have jumped in on a class action and get some money. Instead I was content with the extended warranty and free roadside for the next 6 years I was offered.”

Sooooo, more details on that BMW S1000RR Police bike?
Thought I posted this last night but it looks like it never made it on. That was one of my favorite cars of the show — along with the BMW M4 GTS and the VW GTE Concept. Really, really gorgeous car that Cayman GT4 Clubsport...
At least Norway would be easy...
Oh admit it D, you’re already planning your ride around Europe on a BMW eRR...
That’d be neat to try. I’ve owned an F800S and an F800ST and I got tired of the motor both times, for some reason. Too buzzy for my taste. My 1150GSA was at least more solid and tractor like (not a high pitched whine) and my new 1200GSA is even better.
I love me some BMW bikes — I’ve owned eight or so of them including an ‘07 R1200S and I currently own an ‘09 R1200GSA and ‘72 R60/5. That said, a “scrambler” to me is supposed to be, and look, light and nimble.
Just signed myself up with my 2015 Golf TDI SE 6MT and my girlfriend up with her 2010 Jetta Sportwagen TDI DSG.
You must mean “wheel to wheel racing”. An E30 is far from an open wheel car.
Someone needed to tell the guys in the Integra that the Jalopnik Bump is not a literal thing.
We bought my girlfriend’s TDI Sportwagen in the Spring of 2010. It’s a MY2010 car.
I saw a guy on the San Diego DGR a few weeks ago on a brand new BMW 1200GS Adventure, and another guy on a brand-new BMW R1200RT. I don’t think anyone had a problem with them.
...or so we think. VW has still stopped selling all remaining 2015 models as well as new 2016 models.
$26,011.00 actually, to be exact.
So, let’s use my 2015 Golf TDI SE as an example. Bought it in late October of last year, so it’s almost exactly 11 months old. 19,800 miles as of this morning. Dark metallic blue over black “leatherette” interior. 6 speed manual transmission. Factory Fender audio system, backup camera, adaptive (swiveling) xenon…
The question then would be “What will this flash do to fuel economy and longevity?”...which is a question that might not be answered for a long time.
As the owner of a 2010 Jetta Sportwagen TDI and 2015 Golf TDI, I’m curious to see what the fallout and holding of the situation ends up being. My 2015 TDI uses AdBlue fluid, the 2010 JSW of course doesn’t. Wonder if both will fall under whatever recalls/software changes/etc., are mandated.
Obviously it’s not exact, but the kerning and bolt/normal switch makes it scream “Apple” to me...kind of like reading one of those paragraphs where every word is misspelled, but you can still read it.
Who stole Apple’s font?!?!
Does the rear brake feel pretty much nonexistent? Mine was like that when I bought it — apparently something to do with a bad design of the stock rear brake pedal-to-master linkage. There’s a mod for it which is supposed to help. If you haven’t already, check out the Pelican Parts R1200S Forum. It’s the best place on…
